Who is Asheville Intelligence?
Two local software consultants with more than 20 years each in enterprise software, now building practical AI tools for businesses across Western North Carolina. We live here, raise families here, and run the events page at ashevilleintelligence.com as our working proof — real software in public, not a portfolio slide.
Where does the event data come from?
Event data comes from Mountain Xpress, AVLtoday, and other local calendars — always credited, always linked. Every listing on the events page links back to its source.
What does this cost?
Pilots run on a fixed quote agreed before any work starts — most begin small, sized to one problem. The first conversation is always free, no strings.
We are not a tech company. Is that a problem?
No — most of the businesses we work with aren’t. We talk in plain English about your actual work, and we build around the tools you already use.
What happens to our data?
Privacy and approval rules get written down before a pilot starts. Your information never trains a model, and you decide exactly what any tool can see.
Who owns what you build?
You do — code, accounts, content, all of it. Handoff is part of every project, and nothing we ship locks you into us.
What if it doesn’t work for us?
A pilot is deliberately small so the answer comes fast and cheap. If it isn’t earning its keep, we say so and you stop — no retainer, no sunk-cost spiral.
Do you offer ongoing help after handoff?
If you want it, a simple monthly support arrangement keeps us close. If you don’t, the handoff includes everything your team needs to run it without us.
Do you work with schools or homeschool groups?
Yes — AI-literacy workshops for adults and parents only. We collect no information about children and never work with minors directly.
